The unidentified woman is still being sought after.
During a night out with her pals, a young woman unintentionally captured her final moments on camera.
On September 27, Arina Glazunova, a 24-year-old Russian national from Moscow, was out in Tbilisi, Georgia, when the evening took a tragic turn.
A Fun-Filled Evening Becomes Tragic
Arina was miming along to a song’s lyrics while being videotaped by a friend.
Later, she borrowed her friend’s phone and started recording herself singing “For The Last Time,” a popular song by the Russian boyband Hunger Boys.
The statement, “No, I’m not waiting for you, but know that I loved for the last time, for the last time,” is sung by her with emotion in the video.
A happy occasion between friends swiftly devolved into tragedy.
Arina sadly fell over an underpass entrance while photographing her companion.
She was reportedly taken to the hospital immediately, but regrettably, she did not make it out alive.
She suffered severe brain injuries and a broken neck, which ultimately led to her death.
A Risky Design Under Investigation
The entrance to the stairwell that descends to the underpass is visible in pictures and videos that have been making the rounds online since Arina’s death.
Due to its lack of safety features, the entrance’s design is currently the subject of harsh criticism.
The location just has a small ledge in place of appropriate railings, which many people feel is insufficient to avoid accidents.
One user expressed his worries on TikTok by commenting, “I mean, it’s dark at night and you can’t see the barrier.
“They really should raise it so that this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.”
The ledge surrounding the entrance is dangerously low, just reaching knee height, as another user noted.
People on social media are still expressing their incredulity; one person asked, “Why is there no protection or fence?”
In agreement, another individual said, “I was shocked seeing the subway entrance… that is so dangerous.”
People have placed flowers at the location where Arina fell after her untimely death.
