Even though 2024 is coming to an end, we are still perspiring over this year’s sexiest movie sequences.
Every genre, from a Broadway musical to a sports drama about three tennis stars in a decades-long love triangle, produced sultry, fiery moments to keep audiences salivating. That giggling chemistry was essential to the success of Glen Powell and Adria Arjona’s romantic thriller Hit Man, which tells the story of a phony bounty hunter who falls in love with a desperate lady attempting to escape her violent husband.
Fortunately, Arjona had suggestions. In order to better understand one other’s preferences, the actress, who plays Madison in the movie, created a Pinterest board where she and Powell could exchange pictures from their favorite films.
In a June interview, Arjona told Variety, “Everyone finds different things sensual.” It was intriguing to observe both of our viewpoints, focus on them, and begin shaping them from that angle. Since we were making it, it generated discussions that you wouldn’t often have.

According to Powell, who compared it to storyboarding the characters’ emotional journey, they were able to become more intimate on screen by engaging in other ways.
Powell, who portrays Gary among other characters, told the newspaper that “sex scenes feel almost divorced from the movie, like a marketing play or it feels icky.” These scenes are essential to the identity transformation and seizing in [Hit Man]. You have to witness a man who views the world in such a binary, stale way that he is changing completely and checking rationality at the door. It is being accelerated by this amorous interaction. It serves as the impetus behind everything.

The song “I Was Made for Loving You” by Yungblud plays in the background as Colt gets up and emerges from the water, completely soaked in a tight white tank top and covered in bruises. The camera captures every gleaming muscle on Gosling’s body in slow motion. We don’t think anyone has ever looked hotter than Leitch, who understood exactly what he was doing.

We understand that you probably assumed that Hit Man’s sexiest moment would be the sultry roleplay montage starring Glen Powell and Adria Arjona. Nothing, however, was more exciting than seeing Powell and Arjona’s characters unite at the movie’s climax and use the iPhone Notes app to successfully escape punishment for (actual) murder.
Arjona’s Madison doesn’t flinch when Powell’s Gary, who is completely wired, devises a last-minute, unexpected scheme to elude the police, and the two stage a blowout to appear innocent. The two are still completely clothed, but there’s something more seductive about their unmistakable chemistry and their capacity to read one another’s thoughts than any time they’re actually getting nude, which is also extremely attractive.
In “Bikeriders,” Austin Butler and Jodie Comer’s sexy meets cute.
Watching two people across the room meet eyes and instantly connect is the sweetest thing in the world. Things are elevated to a completely new level when you have those two individuals, Austin Butler and Jodie Comer. Throughout Jeff Nichols’ Bikeriders, the couple’s turbulent affair has its ups and downs, but their first night together, in which Comer’s character Kathy reacts in a very relatable way by becoming stunned by the sight of Butler’s Benny, is flawless.
Benny strolls over to Comer and turns his chair so he can look into her eyes. The two of them look at one other so intensely and yearningly that it seems like the viewer is prying. Despite having a serious boyfriend at home, Kathy manages to keep a straight face while riding off with Benny on the back of his bike. We would follow Austin Butler anywhere if he gave us that kind of gaze.
In “The Idea of You,” Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine have a seductive hotel encounter.
In this age-gap romance drama, Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine are captivating from beginning to end. The story follows Soléne (Hathaway) as she has an unexpected and intense tryst with boy bander Hayes (Galitzine). The film is pure fantasy and wish fulfillment, which only heightens its allure for sex. It is based on Robinne Lee’s book of the same name.
With all due respect to Galitzine’s flawlessly executed rocker feel, Hathaway is the film’s true sexy standout. She regains her sexuality, identity, and strength after her character goes through a traumatic divorce. It’s as sensual as it gets to watch her discover new things and come to terms with the fact that, yes, women can still experience pleasure and desire at any age.
Katy O’Brien and Kristen Stewart’s “Love Lies Bleeding” Stretch Session
Even though Rose Glass’ sensual thriller is filled with toxicity, there are unquestionably scorching moments between Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brien’s Lou and Jackie. The two’s innate magnet-like affinity together creates an infinite supply of sultry moments when they’re not arguing.
But Lou’s statement that she wants to “stretch” Jackie to “see how far” she can go is unmatched. Lou, who clearly understands her partner’s competitive nature, enters the restroom and makes her declaration in between hits. You’ll simply have to witness for yourself the joy that the two get from there.

Don’t ask us to explain the Deadpool & Wolverine climactic showdown; we’re confident that it exposed a number of significant narrative points. Actually, we couldn’t have followed along very well since we were too enthralled by Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, when his costume exploded off his body, revealing a variety of rippling, glistening muscles.
With all due respect to the superhero movie, Jackman, who is 56 years old, looked better than any of us will ever be, and his flawlessly toned body was too amazing to ignore. Even the canonically bisexual Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) can’t help but swoon over Jackman’s eight-pack, and Shawn Levy, the director of Us, would probably understand—he did shoot the scene that way for a reason.
