Taylor Swift Gave a Whopping $197 Million in Bonuses to Eras Tour Performers, Crew on Top of Their Salaries (Exclusive)

Taylor Swift lavishly paid her Eras Tour crew for their hard work.

Everyone involved in Swift’s tour, including truck drivers, caterers, instrument technicians, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, makeup, wardrobe, physical therapists, and the video team, received $197 million in bonuses over the course of the last two years, according to PEOPLE.

As Swift concluded the first North American leg of her tour in August 2023, PEOPLE revealed that she had distributed over $55 million in bonuses.

Swift, 34, performed her last gig of the Eras Tour, which began in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, on Sunday, December 8, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.

Swift expressed her gratitude to her fans and concertgoers during her Lover opening act.

“We’ve been all over the world,” she continued. “We’ve gone on a lot of adventures. In my entire life, it has been the most thrilling, strong, exhilarating, intense, and difficult thing I have ever done.

Later, Swift said to the audience, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” before performing “Karma,” the final song on her set list, and making her final bow.

The Eras Tour sold $2,077,618,725 in total tickets, making it the best-selling tour of all time and “doubling the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history,” Swift’s production company, Taylor Swift Touring, confirmed to the New York Times following her 149th and final performance.

Swift is bringing 2024 to a record-breaking close. She achieved great success with the accompanying Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, which sold an estimated 814,000 copies in its first two days, making it the most successful publishing launch of the year, in addition to her tour that broke records. Furthermore, Swift was named the most streamed artist of 2024 by Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, and her eleventh album, The Tortured Poets Department, was the year’s most streamed album.

Swift has a lot to look forward to in 2025, even though her Eras Tour is coming to an end. At the award event, the 14-time Grammy winner will compete for six additional golden gramophones, including album of the year for TTPD.
