Susan Boyle Made History 14 Years Ago When She Left The World Speechless With Her Stunning Performance Of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ On BGT. Now, She Returns To The BGT Final For A Magical Reunion, Performing The Song That Transformed Her Life, Alongside The Phenomenal West End Cast Of Les Misérables.

On the last night of the 2023 season of Britain’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle made a special visit on the stage and shocked the audience with her statement. Alongside the West End cast, the Scottish vocalist, who rose to fame on BGT in 2009, made a triumphant return to the show and sang a lovely version of “Les Misérables.”

As anticipated, Boyle’s performance was outstanding. But when she disclosed that she had had a stroke the previous year, it was the real shock of the evening. After battling to regain her voice, the 62-year-old singer told the show’s hosts, Dec Donnelly and Ant McPartlin, that she was thrilled to be able to perform again.

One person wrote, “Watching Susan Boyle perform again was the highlight of the finale.” She sang in 2009, and I clearly recall the judges’ shocked and astonished expressions when she sang. It’s good to see her again, and I hope your recovery from your stroke goes well.

Several years ago, Boyle sang “I Dreamed a Dream” on the show “Britain’s Got Talent,” captivating audiences with her iconic performance. Simon Cowell, the program’s creator, commended Boyle after her victorious comeback to the stage and acknowledged the health issues she suffered, stating that the show wouldn’t have been the same without her.

Susan Boyle reportedly received intense vocal coaching following a stroke and put a lot of effort into regaining her ability to speak clearly. She had a lowered face, slurred speech on one side, and muscle weakness as a result of the health scare. Notwithstanding the difficulties, Boyle’s perseverance and hard work over the previous 12 months paid off, allowing her to triumphantly return to the stage and sing the song that launched her musical career.
