Sophie Rain, a well-known creator of OnlyFans, has announced that she has made over $40,000,000 from the membership service this year. She has since sent an honest message to other women.
Rain tweeted a screenshot from her OnlyFans account that showed a gross income of $43,477,695 (£34,069,290) from November 2023 to November 2024, revealing an astounding amount of money.
She disclosed that just one fan had actually sent her more than $4.7 million of the enormous sum of money she had amassed from people purchasing her images and videos.
“Big thank you to my top spender for being there since the beginning,” she wrote.
The USA native, who is still only 20 years old, shared her winnings in a TikTok video with Camilla Araujo, another OnlyFans developer. Araujo disclosed that Rain had made $400,000 in the seven days before to shooting the video.
However, not everyone has accepted Rain’s disclosure, with some criticizing it as a purported publicity gimmick seeking media attention.
The top spender post was shared by podcaster and adult star Adam22, who added: “Everyone I’ve talked to who works in the OnlyFans industry agrees these numbers are fake and would kindly request you post screen recordings.”
He said, “My real name is Adam Grandmaison. I’m not’mad.’ I simply think you guys should realize that this is marketing, not journalism. Indeed, her management team is manipulating her popularity in order to garner media attention, and it’s working.
Rain took direct aim at Adam22, demonstrating the legitimacy of the revenue by sharing a screen capture of her photo on her OF account.
“There is no forgery going on. “I hope this helps,” was her straightforward reply.
Rain sent a statement to people who were looking at her social media after her earnings went viral and she had to defend the figures as accurate.
She also cautioned ladies who could be tempted to create their own subscription sexual content on OnlyFans after seeing what she has earned.
Rain shared on X (previously Twitter) that she didn’t want girls to assume, “Oh, if Sophie Rain is making this, I should do it too.”
“This career is not always sunshine and rainbows, and if you don’t make it big, it won’t be worth it,” she continued.
“Anyone who is doing it I wish you all success, but please don’t quit your jobs for this.”
She claims that OF is similar to every other industry success story, even if she has made it rain (sorry).
Some OF designers have openly expressed their regret for ever posting nude photos, proving that the best of the best do not represent what it is like for everyone.
