Jake is “The Problem Child” Since he first entered the ring to battle Deji Olatunji in 2018, Paul has gained a lot of notoriety, but he is now aiming for a completely other professional path.
He has an outstanding 11-1 record, has only lost to Tommy Fury, and even has the distinction of having defeated Mike “Iron Mike” Tyson.
Despite being as controversial as they come, Paul has received recognition for introducing fresh energy to the boxing game and advocating for fair compensation for female boxers through his Most Valuable Promotions business.
Paul’s controversial “retirement” announcement is making headlines once more as the Tyson bout fades and the concerns that it was “fixed” finally seem to be going away.
You won’t be surprised that Paul isn’t giving up boxing completely, considering his winning streak.
He’s just keeping an eye on the major leagues. Paul has announced on the MVP Instagram that he is leaving influencer boxing after making significant progress since his Deji fight.
MVP called it ‘Flashback Friday’ and shared a video of Paul’s January 2020 boxing debut in which he defeated social media star AnEsonGib. The video detailed Paul’s stellar record as an influencer boxer. “Jake Paul is RETIRED from that sport,” the account continued, adding that he is the “best” that has ever existed (and always will be) in the influencer boxing world.
He doesn’t need them; they need him.Consequently, they said his name 400 times in the last week.
AnEsonGib has been crowned the greatest of all time, and it appears that Paul will no longer be battling influences.
Fortunately for him, professionals like Artur Beterbiev, Julio César Chávez Jr., and Francis Ngannou all came forward as possible rivals following the Tyson bout.
Even a Tyson rematch has been discussed, but it appears that one highly anticipated fight will not proceed.

Jake and Paul, Deji’s brother, have a long-standing rivalry in which they exchange heated words but are unable to compete in the ring.
It appears that Paul’s retirement from influencer boxing precludes a matchup with KSI. We find it a little convenient, but Paul intends to lose a few pounds and compete for the cruiserweight world title in the future.
Given that current IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has thrown down the gauntlet in a heated interview with the Bricks to Riches podcast, it might be best for Paul to try to drop to cruiserweight. “Jake can have it with me if he wants it,” Dubois stated. Since I am the world champion, I would challenge him in that manner. I’ll knock him out in the first minute, of sure, but wouldn’t that be a historic moment? as never before.
Noel Mikaelian, the current WBC cruiserweight champion, had previously stated that if Paul defeated Tyson, he would “go light on him” and fight him.
‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ was defeated by Jake Paul; we’ll see if Mikaelian is next on his hit list.
