“I didn’t understand my own gender and my own s**uality throughout my entire life,” she admitted. In the fifth or sixth grade, I began to see things more clearly. I was in my first romantic relationship with a woman.
According to the 32-year-old, she didn’t identify with the term “bi**xual” because she felt it was too restrictive. “I always hated the word ‘bis**ual,’ because that’s even putting me in a box,” she said. The idea of someone being a male or a girl never occurs to me.
The singer found a label that suited her after visiting an LGBTQ+ center in Los Angeles.
“In particular, I saw one human being who didn’t identify as male or female,” she remarked.
When I looked at them, I saw that they were both tough and fragile, feminine but masculine, gorgeous and seductive. And I was more able to relate to that individual than to anyone else in my life.
“I became more aware of my s**uality as I gained a better understanding of my gender, which was unassigned. “Oh,” I thought, “that’s why I don’t feel gay or straight.” The reason is that I amn’t.
Miley, who identifies as pans**ual, says she is more attracted to someone because of who they are as a person than because of their gender.
Since coming out, her followers have expressed their love and support for the artist.
