Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have both been handed suspensions following boxing match

After their boxing battle, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will be suspended.

Paul, a 27-year-old former Disney Channel star, scored more points in their eagerly awaited bout on Friday.

For boxing fans, who had been waiting months for YouTuber Paul to face 58-year-old boxing legend Tyson, the bout was long overdue.

The fight, which took place at Arlington, Texas’s AT&T Stadium, was aired on Netflix for people all over the world.

But neither boxer will be allowed to return to the ring because they violated any regulations.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which was in charge of the altercation in Arlington, issued the order that caused the forced break.

Paul and Tyson will both need to take at least seven days off regardless of the outcome.

The number of rounds fought determines how many extra rest days are added, with three days granted for each round. They will probably be out of the ring for no more than 24 days because Friday’s bout consisted of eight rounds.

Paul even went so far as to say that Tyson “must die” in the lead-up to the fight, although Tyson has stated that he is “not intimidated or afraid” of Paul.

He continued by calling Paul a “good fighter” and praising his performance.

“I didn’t prove nothing to anyone, just myself,” Tyson added.

“I’m not one of these guys who goes out to please the world, I’m just happy with what I can do.”

After the bout, Paul was also questioned about whether he was “pulling” punches or taking it easy on the legendary boxer.

Paul stated, “I was trying to hurt him because I was afraid he would hurt me.”

Paul responded, “Yeah, definitely, definitely a bit,” when asked if he let his foot off the throttle in later rounds. I didn’t want to hurt him, but I wanted to entertain the people.

Paul described it as a “honor.”
