The notorious hitwoman known as “The Doll” has been taken into custody by the authorities.
The Colombian, 23, has now been taken into custody in relation to several targeted gang murders.
According to the local media, her ex-lover, who was killed on July 23, was one of her victims.
In relation to a number of occurrences that occurred in Barrancabermeja, Colombia, Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, also known as “La Muneca” or “The Doll,” has been placed under arrest.
Local media claims that “The Doll” is linked to several crimes involving the Los de la M gang.
Additionally, Rodriguez reportedly collaborated with a local gang of hitmen.
According to the authorities, Rodriguez called her ex-boyfriend, Deyvy Jesus, to arrange a meeting. They assert that she enticed him out by pretending to resolve a financial dispute. Then two men on a motorcycle shot him. Authorities say “The Doll” gave the order for the kill.
In relation to the crimes, Rodriguez, her accomplice Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, also known as Gorda Sicaria or “Fat Hitwoman,” and a third accomplice named “Leopoldo” have all been taken into custody.
While apprehending the individuals, authorities claim to have discovered a revolver and a 9mm pistol.
“A period of calm has been created in the region with the capture of alias La Muneca and alias Leopoldo,” stated Lieutenant Colonel Muaricio Herrara of the Magdalena Medio Police. The deconstruction of the criminal networks behind the recent killings has advanced with these arrests.
