The Tats Duke?
In a humorous promotional video for his forthcoming Invictus Games, Prince Harry joked that he wanted a tattoo of his “lower back” or “ass.”
The Duke of Sussex was shown in the video, which was posted on Instagram on Tuesday, waiting for his “artist” to show up in the East Side Ink tattoo parlor in New York City while seated in a tattoo chair.
“Will he arrive here anytime soon?” When Harry, 40, asked an unidentified man, he said, “Oh, yes.” He ought to arrive fairly soon.
Jason Bradley DeFord, also known as Jelly Roll, entered a moment later and donned black gloves.
“Hey, hello! Ink. In relation to that, how are you, man? The 39-year-old country singer told the royal.
As she shook Harry’s hand, Jelly Roll said, “Dude, I’m such a fan.”
When they called to tell me that Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today and that I would be giving him his first, you know how shocked I was?
Astonished The vocalist of “Wild Ones” was asked by Harry why he was wearing gloves.
“We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games,” Jelly said.
Harry explained to the crooner that he had come to the shop to ask Jelly to “do the Invictus Games,” which would be held in Vancouver in February 2025, rather than to acquire new ink.
“This is not a tattoo. The youngest son of Princess Diana and King Charles III declared, “I am unable to get a tattoo.”
The singer of “Need a Favor” then threatened to “play the Invictus Games” if Harry permitted him to get his first tattoo.
“All right, forget about it. “Let’s go,” Harry said.
“Where would you like it? He gestured to his butt and said, “Here?”
The author of “Spare” had a better idea when the four-time Grammy nominee recommended that Harry have the fresh ink on his neck.
He remarked, “I was thinking about my ass or my lower back.”
Meghan Markle’s husband responded, “That’s the place where no one’s going to see it,” in response to Jelly telling Harry that “nobody wants to see” his ass.
The vocalist of “Save Me” then humorously inked the phrase “I am Jelly Roll” on Harry’s neck.
The country singer hurried out of the room as the father of two was startled to see the fake tattoo of Jelly’s name on his neck.
A statement announcing Jelly’s live performance at the Invictus Games closing ceremony on February 16 came at the end of the video.
