I’m A Celeb fans shocked to see gap between finalists as final voting percentages are revealed

When ITV released the voting percentages for Wednesday night’s final, fans of I’m A Celebrity were taken aback by the disparity between the finalists.

After defeating Reverend Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney, McFly vocalist Danny Jones was proclaimed King of the Jungle.

Following his victory, Jones told viewers, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” with tears in her eyes. Being appreciated is a beautiful sensation. This means a lot to me because I put my all into it.

He remarked, “This is totally insane,” after thinking back on his time in the jungle and reaching the final. The campmates were amazing, and that’s why I’ve discovered so much about myself.

“It was much more difficult than it appears on television. You’re exhausted, hungry, and lethargic.

On the other hand, fans are shocked by the final voting percentages for the finalists.

The voting process for the final three was as follows:
41.36% for Danny Jones

– Coleen Rooney 33.47%

– 25.18% for Richard Coles

This is how it transpired when Danny Jones and Coleen Rooney faced off in the final:
Danny 55.21%

Coleen 44.79%

One fan remarked, “Quite a big Margin for Danny then!” in disbelief.

“I thought it was going to be a lot closer than that!” commented another. Congratulations, Danny #ImACeleb.

“Given that Danny had the unfair advantage of his McFly fan base, Coleen did fairly well,” a third person remarked.

Although calling having supporters a “unfair advantage” is a bit of a stretch, it does appear that Danny was destined to win this from the beginning.

Jones will not be able to keep his hard-earned prize even though he won.

This is because, as Sam Thompson, the 2023 King of the Jungle, disclosed last year, ITV reclaims the sceptre and crown that were given to the jungle’s king or queen.

“I didn’t get to keep anything!” he said when discussing this on This Morning. They refused to give me anything.

“I had to give the sceptre back,” he continued. It’s really large, so I really wanted to get it past airport security. I don’t have much to show for it, though.

Additionally, Jones will not receive a monetary award for winning.

Don’t worry, though; this is simply how the show operates and he didn’t disqualify himself.

Contestants only receive a one-time payment each year for taking part. Regardless of whether they won or left after three days, they will receive their money as long as they remain in the jungle for seventy-two hours.
