Following her move to England, Ellen DeGeneres nearly died in a massive flood.

The news that DeGeneres and her spouse, Portia de Rossi, had moved to the UK startled fans.

After being “kicked out of showbiz,” the comic reportedly relocated to the UK for her “retirement.”

The 66-year-old, also known as President-elect Donald Trump, was rumored to have wished to leave American politics.

Prior to the announcement of the election results, the couple had already made plans to relocate to the Cotswolds, according to inside sources.

A insider told DailyMail: “There’s no denying it. Ellen and Portia are retiring at this time.

“Neither of them has any upcoming projects.”

Ellen genuinely believed she had left her stamp on the industry, but that was lessened when she was fired for allegedly mistreating her employees, the person continued. “It was really hurtful to have celebrities call her out one by one after that.”
