In a shocking admission from her recently published memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, Cher has disclosed that she lost her virginity at the age of 14 in order to exact revenge on her older partner.
The 78-year-old music legend described how, in the early 1960s, she started dating a “cute” Italian high school senior, but she ultimately chose to “loan her virginity” to him after he made her look foolish in front of his friends.

“Back in school, I told my friends that they should continue kissing and that the “thing” they were talking about all the time wasn’t a big deal.”

The two quickly fell in love, got married in 1964, and a year later established the musical combination Sonny & Cher, which became one of the greatest acts ever and catapulted both of them into the spotlight.
Their relationship, however, began to deteriorate behind the scenes as their careers took off; Cher subsequently said that Sonny “didn’t allow her to do anything except work” and that he didn’t offer her “any freedom” during the height of their fame.

Cher eventually left David for Gregg, a musician who played with the Allman Brothers Band.
The two fell in love quickly after she and her ex-boyfriend David went to one of Gregg’s shows at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
He then described the night they met to Rolling Stone, saying, “She smelled like I would imagine a mermaid would smell.”
But because he “passed out in the bathroom, high on heroin,” he called their first encounter a “disaster.”
Nevertheless, two months after they began dating, the couple decided to tie the knot in a Las Vegas wedding at Caesars Palace on June 30, 1975.
Gregg’s drug use, however, caused things to go south very fast. He told Rolling Stone, “There was one problem – she didn’t realize that I was a hop-head.”
“Look, I have something to tell you,” I said to her when I woke up one morning. I have a drug addiction. She said, “Well, how do you fix that?”
I didn’t have much more to say than “Well.” “I know what we’ll do,” she told him. “I’ll have my doctor friend give you a large prescription for Quaaludes, and you can simply sleep through it when we return to Los Angeles. It will all be over when you awaken.
“What the hell, I tried it, but it obviously didn’t work.” Nevertheless, Cher seemed genuinely thrilled that I had come clean to her about my addiction.
Their relationship continued after they decided to file for divorce nine days into their marriage. After reconciling a month later, they welcomed a son, Elijah Blue, into the world in 1976.
In 1977, they also put out a collaborative album titled Two the Hard Way. However, they formally parted ways in 1979 after four years of dating.
“We experienced both good and bad times,” he remarked. We simply differed from one another in many ways. I apologize, but she’s not a very good singer, so I was actually relieved that she never asked me what I thought of her singing.
Since late 2022, Cher has been seeing 38-year-old music producer Alexander “AE” Edwards, who was photographed last month.
In retrospect, I believe I was looking for a friend, even if I had to get married to one. The problem is that I adore ladies. I always have.
‘I just didn’t have the juice anymore,’ Cher said enthusiastically in an interview with People after her time with Gregg. He is the most kind, caring, and kind father and husband. However, all goes to s*** when he forgets.
I never loved someone as much as I loved him, which is why I still care a lot about him. But I no longer love him.
Since late 2022, Cher has been dating 38-year-old music producer Alexander “AE” Edwards.
