In his first NFL season, cornerback Cooper DeJean of the Philadelphia Eagles is having an instant effect. The team chose the defender in the second round of the draft, and he has quickly established himself as a starter.
He had recorded five pass breakups, a recovered fumble, and 30 tackles in 11 games. He may have made his season-highlight hit on Sunday!
In the bitterly cold December conditions, the Eagles faced the Ravens in an attempt to secure a decisive victory. With a strong performance from Saquon Barkley, Philly would win 24-19.
DeJean contributed to the victory during the fourth quarter of play by playing on the defensive end of the ball. With the offense on the field, Baltimore hoped to reduce the two-score deficit while trailing 21–12 late. Lamar Jackson once delivered a swing pass to Derrick Henry during the drive. Cooper DeJean then confronted the rushing back close to the line of scrimmage.

DeJean grabbed the 247-pound Henry off his feet and pushed him to the ground after stopping him in his tracks. The bench for the Eagles went crazy!
