According to the Mayo Clinic, Willis has been diagnosed with aphasia, a brain disorder that keeps cognitive functions from functioning normally.
Speech treatment typically reduces it, but according to the organization, “even though most people make significant progress, few people regain full pre-injury communication levels.”
On social media, Willis’ family posted a message regarding the news.
“To Bruce’s incredible supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been dealing with some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” they wrote in an Instagram post. Bruce is leaving the career that has meant so much to him as a result of this, after giving it careful thought.
It went on to say, “Our family is going through a really trying time, and we are so grateful for your continued love, compassion, and support.”
“We wanted to include his fans because we understand how much he means to you, just as you do to him, and we are navigating this as a strong family.”
“Live it up,’ as Bruce always says, and together we plan to do just that,” they said in closing.
After learning of Willis’ diagnosis, other celebrities have expressed their support in statements that have gone viral.
Willis’ co-star on Pulp Fiction, John Travolta, paid a touching homage to the actor.
In his Instagram post, Travolta referred to Willis as a “generous soul.”
John started, “When we shared two of our biggest hits together, Pulp Fiction and Look Who’s Talking, Bruce and I became good friends.” “I just want you to know that when something good happens to you, I feel like it’s happening to me,” he told me years later. That is the extent of his generosity. Bruce, you are loved.
As is well known, Willis has starred in a number of amazing films over the years. Although Pulp Fiction is a huge hit, his most well-known role is that of Detective John McClane in Die Hard.

“After sharing Bruce’s first diagnosis, our family wanted to begin by sincerely thanking everyone for the amazing outpouring of love, support, and amazing tales that we have all received.
“In keeping with that, because we now have a better grasp of what our cherished husband, father, and friend is going through, we wanted to provide you with an update.
Bruce’s condition has worsened since we revealed his aphasia diagnosis in the spring of 2022, and we now have a more precise diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia, or FTD.
Unfortunately, communication difficulties are only one sign of Bruce’s illness. Even while this hurts, having a definitive diagnosis at last is a comfort.
“FTD is a terrible illness that can affect anyone and that many of us have never heard of. FTD is the most frequent type of dementia in those under 60, and since it can take years to receive a diagnosis, it is probably far more widespread than we realize.
Bruce has always supported using his voice to support others and bring significant concerns to the public’s and private spheres’ attention.
We know deep down that if he could today, he would want to respond by drawing attention to the crippling illness and connecting with those who are also affected by it, as well as the fact that it affects a great number of people and their families.
“As one family with a loved one suffering from FTD, we urge others to take advantage of the abundance of information and support offered by AFTD (@theaftd, theaftd.org).”

Willis’s family, however, has stated that they plan to use this devastating diagnosis to increase public awareness of the illness.
Emma, Willis’s wife, soon voiced her disapproval of rude photographers.
She posted on Instagram, “If you are someone who is caring for someone who has dementia, you understand how challenging and stressful it can be to get them out into the world and to navigate them safely, even just to get a cup of coffee.”

Then, it was disclosed that Demi Moore had allegedly moved in to assist the Willis family.
According to family insiders who spoke to Radar Online, “Demi has moved in and she is not leaving until the very end.”
The insider went on to say, “At first, nobody outside the family could understand why Demi was living with her ex and his new wife, but now it makes sense.”
“Demi has been a pillar of support for the family and is committed to ensuring that Bruce has love in every day he has left.”
Emma has recently disclosed the true situation, though.
