It appears that Britney Spears recently moved to Mexico after years of residing in the greater Los Angeles area, and she is now giving an explanation for her departure.
The legendary pop singer revealed in an Instagram video that she left the country (for the time being, at least) due to the negative self-perception she has experienced as a result of paparazzi attention.

Without mentioning any recent pictures, she stated in the video, “It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing, like, a white Jason mask.”
“It doesn’t resemble me at all. The paparazzi, the photos, and the way they depicted me in parts of it have all been quite hurtful to me.
Britney said, “That’s why I’ve moved to Mexico,” after bringing up the “extremely mean and cruel” abuse she’s had at the hands of paparazzi.
